Workin' for a living

SOOOO, I have some fabulous news! Well, it's fabulous for me, not really for anyone else. Remember that job interview I had last Friday? Well, I GOT THE JOB! I'm so excited that 5 months of job-hunting finally paid off! So now I am officially an......(drumroll, please)

Editorial intern!!
oooh! aaah! (I don't hear you, people!)

Overall, I am incredibly happy to finally be getting back to work, making some money, and actually doing something with my time. On the other hand, I started thinking today about how my days are going to change, and it's going to be pretty drastic. This is pretty much what I have been doing for 5 months straight.

10:00am- Alarm goes off. Hit snooze approx. 5 times
10:45am- Finally wake up (but stay in bed)
11:00am- Open laptop and check emails
11:10am- Catch up on the reality shows I may have missed (i.e. "Tough Love," "For the Love of Ray J," "Sex Rehab," etc. You know, all the classy stuff.)
12:30pm- Think about getting out of bed.
12:32pm- Decide to stay in bed.
12:35pm- Facebook stalk people.
1:00pm- Complete newest quizzes on http://www.sporcle.com/.
1:30pm- Finally get out of bed and make a sandwich.
1:40pm- Get in shower; sing and dance to music on shower radio.
2:00pm- Dry hair, get dressed, and put on makeup (all while reading blogs).
2:30pm- Watch old episodes of "Full House" on youtube.
3:20pm- Boyfriend shows up. Hang out with boyfriend. This usually entails going back to sleep or laying in bed some more, talking.
5:00pm- Boyfriend leaves.
5:05pm- Go online and actually look for jobs.
5:30pm- Roomies get home. Talk to roomies.
6:00pm- Make 3lb plate of spaghetti and eat it all.
6:45pm- Kickboxing class with roomie #2 (aka the only time of day that I move more than 2 inches). Try not to puke up the spaghetti.
8:00pm-Arrive home.
8:00pm-2:00am- Lay in bed in my workout clothes because I'm too lazy to change, watch a movie, read a book, or do something similarly motionless. Oh, and lots of job-hunting, too.
2:00am- Fall asleep.

Basically, this was me.....or IS me up until Monday:

I suppose we'll see how I make my transition back into the world of the living and the productive. I only hope "Full House" doesn't miss me too much...

3 pounds of spaghetti!? I do hope you mean "cooked" and not "raw" weights..

Hey, awesome for me too!

By the way, your 5-month schedule eerily resembles my own. Instead of watching "Full House" on the Internet, I tuned in to a full hour on ABC Family (well, an hour and a half if you count the 11:30 episode too, watched only on special occasions)!
