Apparently, I'm Awesome.

First of all, I wanted to share with y'all that my 3 month internship just turned into a FULL-TIME SALARIED POSITION! With benefits and the whole she-bang!! So you are now reading the words of a professional editor. Rock.

(I typed "editor" into a photo site and it gave me this image. I'm assuming this is exactly what I'll look like in a few weeks' time) ----->

There were 2 interns, myself and another girl (Allison from Sense and Nonsense- give her a visit!) and we were both pulled into the office together with our boss and the CEO of the company. We knew that it was time for "the big talk" and were shaking in our boots! The CEO starts it off nicely and says, "So you two have been here for 3 months now, we really like both of you, and we love your work. Unfortunately, we can only afford to keep one of you." My heart sank. "So," he says, "we have to make a decision."

He then whips out a quarter and says, "Who wants to call it?"

At this point I was half laughing and half panicking because I knew something was up, but I didn't know what. After about a minute of him flipping this coin and calling it for us to decide who to give the job to, he goes, "No, I'm just kidding! We'd like to hire both of you." Cruel. So cruel.

But now I am a working woman! All I have to do is make some business cards...

I also really quickly wanted to acknowledge some awards that I've gotten over the last month or so. I'll try to make it fast.

First, Angie from My So-Called Chaos gave me this multicolored award! Angie has been WAY generous to me over the past few months and I love her for that. She's a great blogger and definitely deserves a visit. I'm supposed to list 10 things that make me happy, but this post will be way too long, so I'm just going to give it to somebody instead. Cool?

I'd like to award this blog to IntenseGuy for being there for me since day 1. He has not let a single blog post go by without commenting and he's such a thoughtful and kind person. Thanks, dude!

Next, Jana from The Little Black Book gave me this award. Jana has disappeared for a while, so maybe if you give her a visit, it will inspire her to write some more!
I'm supposed to answer a bunch of questions for this one, too, but I won't bore you (more). I'm going to pass this one onto The Vegetable Assassin for always cracking me up. This girl is seriously funny. Go visit her.

Finally, I literally jumped with joy when McGriddle Pants from Serenity Now...Insanity Later! gave me this award! I have been coveting this award for months and I am SO pumped to finally get it! I'd also like to say that I totally adore everything about McGriddle Pants and her blog. To be honest, I was preparing to give HER an award, but she beat me to it! DEFINITELY check her out.


I'm going to give this award to Erin from I'm Staying Young Forever, who I consider to be my "bloggy bestie." She's totally awesome, she has a great blog, she loves "Full House" and Urban Outfitters (just like me), and she rocks my world. So run off and say hello.
